Does anyone have a guide or document for a rent to own home agreement to share?
It's the first time i rent a home and i'd like it to be to someone that would want to keep it after a yr or so. I need an example to create one. thank you for any input.

- Richard, if I understand the question correctly you have a property you own and you want to rent it to someone who will 'keep' it after a year. I am assuming you are in the US. Be very careful how you structure such a deal. Rent to own or a lease option (another name for the same thing) can get you into a lot of trouble. In some states there are specific regulations with one state blocking such deals. You are also the landlord so you are still responsible for the key functions (heat, hot water, cold water, roof). Things that are necessary for the property to remain habitable. You should study the topic so you can recognize the key elements in any contract. Then you should check the laws in your state or get a form that is known to be legal in your state.
