what are remedies if individual backs out on agreement to lease their condo to me?
I signed a lease and paid a deposit to take possession of an individuals condo on August 15. He called me today to say he has to cancel the lease. The lease is signed and my deposit check has been cashed. I feel he owes me more than just my deposit back as this is a huge inconvience. What are my options?

- Darn right he owes you more. He needs to provide you with a place to live for the next 12 months. Ask for 4 months of rent. This is what you need to find another place. Otherwise tell him to show up in Housing court.
