I am in a lease option to purchase a residential property and unfortunately the gentleman whom has entered into this agreement has passed away. What happens there is no will is my agreement still valid? I am in Washington state...

- In general, you can not have a contract with a dead person. You should contact an attorney in your state for a definitive answer. Do not delay. The slight cost for a 30 minute conference with an attorney is well worth any added loss you might suffer.
